HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS NEWS RSVP for the 8th Annual Awards Night Attention: High School student-athletes and families, you are cordially invited to attend the 8th Annual Sports Award Night from 6:30pm-9pm. This an evening dedicated to all of our International High School student-athletes, coaches and families to come and celebrate the past year in sports!On this special night, our student-athletes will be honored with team and department awards, as well as league recognition awards. Throughout the evening, guests will also be entertained with student-athlete reflections, videos and the end-of-the-year sports slideshow. This is a very meaningful night for all of coaches and players, and it is very important that the full roster is is present. RSVP HERE! SIGN UP FOR A SPORT IN 2016- 2017: Take the opportunity to sign up for your sports next year: Declare your sports here. Download and fill out the annual paperwork, including an ANNUAL doctor's physical. You may email them to athletics@internationalsf.org or turn them in to the Athletic Office. Uniform Deposit check: Annually, a $500 check (made out to International High School, postmarked for the last day of school) is due for each student-athlete. This check is not meant to be cashed, it is only held as a promise that the uniforms will come back in good condition. If an item is lost or damaged, then the player is only responsible for the cost of the specific item. At the conclusion of the school year, uniform deposit checks will be shredded. Check the Passport to Play to ensure all forms are processed by the Athletic Department. Student-athletes can expect a 4-6 day per week commitment when they start their sport. ALL STUDENT-ATHLETES, regardless of season of sport, is encouraged to attend the Annual Leadership Retreat on 8/15/2016. High School Open Gyms Join us for Open Gyms. These are optional, off-season opportunities for our student-athletes and community to get together, play, and stay in shape! Even if your child has not been a member of a sports team in the past it is not too late to learn a new sport and represent French American. Regardless of your skill level or knowledge of the sport we have a team that will challenge you and allow you to have fun! French American Jaguar teams compete in the Bay Area Interscholastic Athletic League in Boys Basketball, Boys Soccer, Boys Volleyball, Co-ed Cross Country, Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer and Girls Volleyball. We also field teams in the CYO League for Girls Volleyball, Boys Basketball and Girls Basketball and the SFYBL for Boys Baseball. Sign up to compete on a French American team here.
