Prior to this summer, the 6th-floor roof was a place that students and faculty passed through. Today, the comfortable, green space is a place to lunch, study, lounge, or do athletic conditioning.

The Lower School Sustainability Celebration and school-wide Design Faire took place on April 29. The events were a celebration of a year's worth of science investigations, engineering feats, and sustainability initiatives.

Over the last couple of months, seven groups of high school students spent about two weeks traveling abroad – to Senegal, Malawi, Taiwan, India, Peru, Galapagos, and Tahiti – participating in science exploration, linguistic study, cultural immersion, and sport and service learning opportunities.
