And, We're Back!

Welcome, French American and International families, new and returning, to a new school year. We were delighted to welcome nearly 1,100 students back to school on Wednesday. Here is a recap of the first few days in photos. You'll also find below features of the Community Portal that will help you stay connected to the school throughout the year.

A Look at the First Few Days

We were all smiles (plus a few bags) on Wednesday as we kicked off a new school year! Lower school students got acquainted with their environment and enjoyed new play structures on the Hickory playground, while students in grades 6-11 spent the first days together on their respective class retreats, and seniors stayed on campus to work with our college counselors. Faculty and staff engaged in professional development the week before school started, and a group of high school students observed the solar eclipse in Oregon. Here's a peek at the first week!

Hickory Playground: Lower School students checked out the new play structures in the Hickory Yard.

Parents, administrators, and students enjoyed breakfast together before the start of school on Wednesday, giving young students an opportunity to make plans over bagels.

Meanwhile, back in San Francisco:

Faculty and staff took a break from back-to-school preparation to observe the partial solar eclipse.

Pre-Rentrée: Faculty and staff from all three sections of the school collaborated and inspired one another during the week before school started.
