Judith Glickman is an educator with forty years of experience in public, international and independent school education. Since 1968, when she first entered the classroom as a biologist, Judith has served as head of school, district superintendent, principal and search and governance consultant. Whether it be the challenge of urban education, the seriousness of purpose of independent schooling or the lure of international schooling, her commitment to sound schooling, effective governance, strategic thought and the life of the mind remain compelling.
Judith holds an A.B. in Biology and M.A. in Education from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California. A published author and recipient of academic and professional honors, she was named a Klingenstein Visiting Fellow at Columbia University, a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Mills College and, most recently, Board Chair of the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco.
Judith conducts searches for executive directors, heads of school and senior administrators, and assists nonprofit organizations in strategic thinking and governance, executive coaching and management audits.
