Songs For Senegal-October 16, 2014

The French American International School and International High School community hit a record for funds raised through its annual Songs for Senegal concert.

The evening consisted of a dinner and a high-energy concert featuring student and faculty musicians from all grade-levels. Assistant High School Principal Antoine Delaitre described the evening as "one of the highlights of the school's cultural agenda and a showcase of [its] incredible student and faculty talent."

Songs for Senegal is not only an all-school community celebration, but it is an annual fundraiser organized by International High School students to support École Natangué in Senegal. As International High School student Larson Holt put it, "One of the most important things about our school's involvement with École Natangué is that for 8 years, you have all continued to sustain the school through its construction and growth. This is something we should all be proud of."

Job well done, French American and International!
