Joshua Nossiter

Title(s) Chair

Josh has served on the Board of Trustees since 2001, twice as Treasurer. Son Jason ’02, and daughter Madeline ’04, are both French American lifers. He has volunteered for the school for nearly 30 years, among other roles coaching the girls’ tennis team and chairing both the Annual Fund and the Soiré e des Vins. Himself the beneficiary of a bilingual education and an upbringing on three continents, he believes passionately in the value of studying languages and cultures other than one’s own. With a BA in English from Dartmouth and an MBA in finance from Columbia, he has worked as a broadcaster in California, in finance on Wall Street, and is the author of many computer books for Macmillan. At present he’s the MCAH Director of Finance and Operations in the Department of Public Health. Josh’s commitment to French American has only deepened over time, and he is honored to serve as board chair at a moment of great promise in the school’s history.
