International and Long Distance Applicants

We welcome applications from families relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our formal procedures and Admission season are essentially the same as for local applicants. However, evaluation procedures are tailored to family travel constraints. For Grades 1 through 8, a dossier from a recognized French school is usually viewed as sufficient evidence for acceptance. Potential applicants from overseas should contact the Associate Director, Coumba Diouf, at coumbad@frenchamericansf.org and the Admission Coordinator, Jacqueline Mae Culas, at jacquelinec@frenchamericansf.org .

Students from public, private, and parochial schools are admitted to the French American International School and International High School on the basis of academic records and other data. Our Admission policies are non-discriminatory.
