Your Child's Bilingual Journey and our International Showcase on October 1st

French American is unique in being a PK3 through 12th grade school. For children entering Kindergarten, the gift of a bilingual education should be envisioned as a 13-year quest. Naturally, most applicant families are highly focused on our nurturing Early Learning Program at 1155 Page Street; but it is also worthwhile to learn more about the richness of the whole journey.

We invite all applicant families interested in a deeper understanding the endgame at French American to register here for the International Showcase at SF Jazz on October 1st at 5:30 pm.

SF Jazz is a charismatic neighborhood venue. The 50 minute (adults only) showcase is a great way to understand the fruition of your child's bilingual journey as it might play out in the final years our International High School. Through multiple student and alum voices, we will evoke the benefits of our diverse community, the high levels thinking and meaningful work in our classrooms, outstanding college matriculations, and making a positive difference in the global arena.

The featured program at SF Jazz will be the IB Diploma program. Later in the season we will invite you to a French Section informational evening.

There is no redundancy between this event and our regular Open House on October 24 with its compelling PK and K focus.

For Grades 1 through 8, a dossier from a recognized French school is usually viewed as sufficient evidence for acceptance. Potential applicants from overseas should contact the Associate Director, Coumba Diouf, at coumbad@frenchamericansf.org and the Admission Coordinator, Jacqueline Mae Culas, at jacquelinec@frenchamericansf.org .

Students from public, private, and parochial schools are admitted to the French American International School and International High School on the basis of academic records and other data. Our Admission policies are non-discriminatory.
