How to Apply

Our application process for Fall 2019 entry starts August 15th, 2018. Applications are due by January 8th, 2019 (Sibling applications due November 13th, 2018).
Please contact Jacqueline should you need guidance or have questions large or small.

Assessments and playdates take place in our first grade classrooms over several Saturdays in February 2019 (sibling assessments in December 2018).
Decisions announced in March 2019 for entry in Fall 2019.

Our Admission process is designed to give you the opportunity to appreciate the myriad benefits of bilingualism and to ensure a good match for your child and your family. French American is unusual in being PK3 through 12.

For children entering Kindergarten, a bilingual education in French and English should be envisioned as a 13-year quest. Naturally, most applicant families are highly focused on our Page Street Early Learning Center; but it is also worthwhile to learn about the richness of the whole journey, in particular our flagship International Baccalaureate & French Bac programs taken in grades 11 and 12.

Students from public, private, and parochial schools are admitted to the French American International School and International High School on the basis of academic records and other data. Our Admission policies are non-discriminatory.

For Grades 1 through 8, a dossier from a recognized French school is usually viewed as sufficient evidence for acceptance.
