Twelve fierce young women and a handful of sensitive New Age guys brought down the house in November at A... My Name Is Alice. This musical revue showcased the thoughts and experiences of women from all walks of life: from bohemian artistes to doctors, homemakers to professionals and everyone in between. Humorous at times and melancholy at others, the sketches forced the viewers to weigh stereotypes and socialization, and ultimately look themselves in the mirror.
All the while, students sang their hearts out, delivering inspiring company and solo performances.
One theatre-goer shared his review of the show: "I thought it was fantastic. The girls were terrific, and the musicians sounded like a Broadway pit orchestra! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up."
