The school gate is at the far, upper end of Butterfield Road in San Anselmo. There are two exit options from Highway 101. The more southern is Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, which goes west all the way to Butterfield Road. But it is usually 5-10 minutes faster to continue two additional exits on 101 to Central San Rafael and take the first left (Third Street).
Third Street continues west (changing names to Red Hill Avenue) to join Sir Francis Drake at an enormous (23 lanes) intersection called “The Hub."" At this intersection, stay in the right two lanes to join SF Drake.
You will then pass the Red Hill shopping center (right), then Sir Francis Drake High School (left). The second light past the high school is well-signed Butterfield Road.
Go right 2.5 miles to the campus gate. Allow sufficient time for usually congested traffic. Parking: After you enter the school gate, there is a large paved parking lot on the left, just past the stables. Please drive slowly, and five miles per hour past the stables. It is then about a 150 yard walk to the start/finish line on the soccer field. "
