A native of Washington, DC, Winston played varsity baseball and basketball in high school and continued playing basketball at the collegiate level.

Indulging an abiding love for baseball and its history, Winston and his high school aged son have visited every Major League Baseball stadium. Winston coached Little League baseball, softball, and football for several seasons before taking the head baseball coach job at Mission High School in 2014. His Mission High teams had a great deal of success, including an undefeated regular season in 2014. As a coach, Winston places great emphasis on the development of baseball "intelligence" (not an oxymoron!), self-confidence, hustle, and teamwork.

Winston is an avid reader and also enjoys competitive trail-running, hiking, and spending time at the beach with his new puppy.

A graduate of Oberlin College and Santa Clara University Law School, Winston has worked in finance, law, and as a public school special education teacher. He lives in San Francisco with his wife while his two children attend college on the East Coast.

From Upstate NY, Tim lettered in both Baseball & Football at Schuylerville HS. After Coach Case graduated from the University at Buffalo, he played travel Baseball and Semi-Pro Football. In addition, he coached baseball and football at Mission HS. Coach Mike Krzyzewski is an influence and Coach Case's philosophical approach in regards to preparing his student-athletes for life after the game.
